YOU are God's Masterpiece! "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10 NLT Ponder that for a moment ... For we ARE God's Masterpiece... But, do we truly see ourselves that way ~ in the work place, at home, with family, with friends or in our private thoughts? As you think about that, what was the first thought that came to mind (honesty counts) when you read you ARE God's Masterpice? Did your thoughts include you being: - Unconditionally loved?
- Overcomer/Conquerer?
- Divine royalty?
- Wonderfully and uniquely created?
- Worthy?
- God's Masterpiece?
Did you know God sees you in this manner!! In fact, you are the apple of God's eye ~ your name engraved on the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16)! - He knew you and planned for you before you were even born! (Psalm 139:16)
- His thoughts of you outnumber the grains of sand! (Psalm 139:18)
- You're not a mistake ~ He knew you, adopted/chose you! (John 15:16; Ephesians 1:5; Ephesians 1:11...)
Wow! Allow yourself to absorb that for a moment! If your thoughts toward you are different, do you want to change them to match up with God's view? Because, if our thoughts are dominated by insecurity, inferiority, low self esteem, fear or contingent on the world's view, it can be difficult to see ourselves as wonderfully and uniquely made by God ~ in every area of our lives. And ultimately, if our thoughts are negative/destructive, then we soon realize our spoken words and our actions follow. That's not God's plan for you!
