God's Wisdom is Power
Are you familiar with your benefit package? When my first Bible teacher and friend asked me if I was familiar with my benefit package, I thought she was referring to the package an employer offers! And, given that I was no longer in the corporate world, I responded "I don't have one." But she was referring to God’s benefit package and led me to Psalm 103. It read “... Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits…” it actually began listing HIS benefit package! I couldn’t believe how HE spelled everything out for me! - He forgives my sins;
- He redeems my life from the pit;
- He satisfies my desires with good things;
- He works righteousness and justice for the oppressed, etc., etc.
I encourage you to sit down quietly and become familiar with God's benefit package for you!
Your journey forward begins with the Love of God through Jesus! I pray you know HIM personally: John 3:16-17 "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him."
Romans 10:9-10 ".... if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation."
John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
After you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior in your life, something still has to happen in your soul – which is your mind, will and emotions. Otherwise, (as Mark Hankins says in his book ‘Taking Your Place In Christ’) “even though you are a new creature in Christ, you are still acting like the world and your spirit is held hostage to an unrenewed mind, feelings, and emotions….. You will never be what God intends for you to be until your mind, will and emotions are dominated by God’s Word. When you feed your spirit on the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to work in you, your mind will be renewed.” Participating in the Teaching "You Are God's Masterpiece ~ Believe It" will help you begin renewing your mind ~ to capture how much God loves you and intends for you to live victoriously through Christ!!
